Established in 2004, The American Lebanese
National Mission (ALNM) is an American organization that focuses on issues
related to Lebanon and the Middle East. ALNM is fully independent with no ties
to any religious or political entity. We are the very first organization in the
US that we know of that was founded and, to this date, function without the
influence of any religious or political entity.
The American Lebanese National Mission
(ALNM) works to establish ties of loyalty and mutual friendship between the United
States and the Lebanese people; encourage the Lebanese American community to be
a positive integral of the American society; and to contribute to the
development and progress of Lebanon with the aim to:
- Promote and protect the First Amendment.
- Promote and protect U.S. National Security.
- Promote Separation of State and Church.
- Promote and support “One Nation under God".
- Encourage, support, and protect civil liberties
and human rights.
- Promote and advocate a free, democratic and
fully independent Lebanon.
- Support Lebanon in its mission to establish and
maintain democracy.
- Strengthen the bond between Lebanese Americans
and the United States.
- Pursue and encourage Lebanese Americans to be
civic minded.
- Promote mutual respect and debate within the
international community.
- Promote the needs and concerns of both domestic
and foreign affairs.
- Promote cultural and educational activities.
- Promote the need to serve as good ambassadors to
host countries.

Our History

- Delegation to Lebanon in 2005 to meet with elected
officials, party leaders, religious clergy, educational and academic
institutions.
- Delegation to Lebanon in 2006 to meet with elected
officials, party leaders, religious clergy, educational and academic
institutions.
- Hosted a Former U.S. Ambassador in Houston.
- Hosted a member of the Lebanese parliament in Houston
twice.
- Hosted a Texas Gubernatorial candidate.
- Hosted a delegation of the U.S. Army.
- Hosted numerous local, state and Federal officials.
- Held a meeting with US Presidential candidate.
- Held meetings with members of Congress.
